LIAISON is a global health policy innovation lab that facilitates international partnerships, leverages resources, innovates, advocates, and drafts policies to ensure universal healthcare access. We aim to realize a world where all have basic human rights and can make a living doing what they love. For this, we strive to achieve universal healthcare coverage through resilient partnerships, data-backed technology, and collaborations with multidisciplinary domain experts.

Focuses include: 

  1. Promoting international projects in global health and education

  2. Promoting the use of innovation and technology in global health and development

  3. Creating strategic partnerships between Japan and overseas entities

  4. Supporting advocacy efforts by NGOs/NPOs, international organizations, and foundations

  5. Hosting events to increase public awareness of global health challenges and opportunities


CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE:

  1. Global health and polio eradication advocacy (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation)

  2. Promotion of global research collaboration for health and science (Institut Pasteur Japan Office/Embassy of France to Tokyo)

  3. Creation of a system to passively collect health data (Passive Care)

  4. Digital health promotion from Japan (American Chamber of Commerce HxD Initiative)

  5. Research and advocacy for data utilization in clinical care (MIT Critical Care)
